Lujaina Mohsin Haider Darwish has been deeply influence by the generosity and quiet philanthropy of her late father. Following in his footsteps, she is committed to giving back to society, working diligently for the well-being of the underprivileged, and serving as a fine example and inspiration to all.
Hon. Lujaina Mohsin Darwish is a committed contributor to the social, cultural and entrepreneurial milieu of Oman. As a member of support organisations such as the GCC Women’s Forum, Omani Woman’s Association, the Business Women Committee of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and others, she has opened numerous doors of opportunity for women entrepreneurs.
She is also a highly involved patron of various grassroots cultural and sports organisations for women and youth, having earned such distinctions as being the first woman in the GCC region and just the second in the entire Arab World, to head a local football club.
Outward Bound Oman uses its training centres and experiences in the great outdoors for immersive learning that makes a lasting difference to the lives of young Omanis.
Lujaina Mohsin Darwish is a deeply committed supporter of the organisation and its aim to equip Omani citizens with the skills to make Vision 2040 a reality.
